Boat Location: Mechanicsville, Virgina. 26 foot MacGregor 26D/SL 1989 shallow draft sailboat with a 9.9 hp electric start outboard motor and 2014 two-axle aluminum trailer.

I use the boat as a day sailor but the cabin has an alcohol stove, potty and can sleep 3 adults and 2 kids.

The boat is easy to tow and easy to launch.

I have sailed multiple lakes and rivers in Virginia and North Carolina using standard boat ramps.

I can launch and sail in shallow water where other boats canít sail.

With an 18 inch draft you can pull up the dagger board if you touch bottom.

The gin-pole system makes stepping the mast very easy, much easier than many 16 foot boats.

I leave the gin-pole in place when I tow and when I sail which speeds up launch time.

I can lower and then raise the mast to go under bridges while afloat.

The boats shallow draft combined the mast raising system; you can explore areas that other sailboats cannot go.

With two people, we can have the boat rigged and in the water in 20 minutes, a little longer if I have to launch the boat by myself.

Boat with trailer $ 9,000.

Boat only $ 5,000.

I have VA titles for the boat and for the trailer.
